This Week Was Really a Bore

Every improvement in communication makes the bore more terrible, said a guy named Frank Moore Colby.

To me, with the improved media technology that can bring us the news every second, this week has been terrible in the press. That story of the so-called Runaway bride kept popping on whereevr I was: TV, computer, newspapers, etc.  It was really a bore!!!!

It looked like the media was looking for something to stay on so it could improve its whatever: rating, circulation, viewing.  Then comes the scandal of the "American Idol".  Another story that keeps making us frown and frown , and make us wonder...

And I know there are some good stories out there, like the one about the two teens who spent six days at sea before they rescued them.  Real lesson of survival, and no reality TV this time.

But the media was too busy following the  Runaway Bride (Jennifer Wilbanks whatever her name is) who can only teaches us deception, deception, and deception again.

Now, this week I feel like Michael Savage:  depressed, saying  like him:  i cannot take it any moooooooooore!!!.  Talking about Savage, I wonder if one day he's not going to have a heart attack or a stroke right in the radio station during his show... hearing the way he sounds when he discusses the issues!!!!

Maybe, I need again  to go on vacation, back to a Caribbean island, w/ my soulmate and  one solid good book, away from this media blitz, in order to find my personal bliss!
