A lot of people are now blaming the victims for not EVACUATING when they were told to do so.
This is what is wrong with this country.
Insensitivity all the way!!!
Those who are saying this nonsense are propably the same who think eveything is doing terrific in this country. The same who refuse to see when things are black or white, red or yellow, just so their eyes do not have to strain while trying to look at the color of things; the same who do not see misery as long they are not in misery themselves.
I Know some day some of them will become paralysed in wheelchairs, frail in a bed, with a crooked body, with no car, living alone, like abandoned subjects of society, aged, without resources, and then... there will be another hurricane or some other disaster coming their way. They will be advised to evacuate also, to leave what has become their surviving place. Then, those will see how hard it will be to leave despite the upcoming danger.
It is alway easy to judge others when the shoe is in somebody'else foot!
